Hello,
I'm a new user here. I'm interested in SmugMug, because i search a hosting place for old pictures owned by an association.
We need to store images that have printable resolution, but we also would like to share images publicly.
1. When i upload images in SmugMug, does it automatically create screen resolution versions of the images?
2. Normally we don't want to share the printable versions, but i guess we can easily dot it if needed?
3. Can we use SmugMug to store other file types than images, like mp3's? (we have old interviews originally recorded in C cassettes)

Welcome!
Yes, display sizes of your photos are automatically created.
See help page at https://help.smugmug.com/change-the-display-size-of-my-photos-S1nIllwkNHf
You can allow or disallow printing. To disallow printing for a gallery, set the Visitor Shopping Cart setting on the Shopping tab of gallery settings to OFF.

SmugMug does not allow you to store mp3 files. You can see the allowable file types on this help page:

Thanks for your response.
It seems that SmuMug is not suitable for our needs.
We have to be able to allow full-size downloads for even single images. not for the whole gallery. We don't sell images, but we can give someone a right to use our images.
We have scanned old pictures in non-packed TIF format to make sure that there are no quality losses. TIFs must be allowed.
