Jekyll Island Driftwood

Jekyll Island is only about an hour's ride from Jacksonville. I went up this morning to shoot some driftwood. I decided to access an area that I haven't been to before and I came upon this scene. I have been a driftwood hound since I was a kid but never have I seen anything like this before. Here's a big tree that's been drug down from the shoreline bank behind it, drug across the beach on its way to a watery grave....and it has never fallen over. That's amazing.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Many thanks, my friend. Stay safe.
Yeah sweet! Wonderful processing too!
Thanks, Taz.
I like that, Tom, nice composition and bw conversion.
Thanks, buddy.
VERY nice Tom!
Was this taken in B+W or did you have to convert it? Nicely done either way.
I have to get there one of these days. Landscape like you have shown us, begs for an IR approach/treatment. I would love to give it a try.
Once again, very good work!

Many thanks, Al. The shot was a conversion. You get anywhere close to me and I'll be your personal guide to the area.
