Carousel Block Sizing: Mobile vs Desktop

I'm wondering if there's a way to customize the sizing of the carousel blocks so that they load at different sizes for desktop and mobile? Specifically I'd like the photos to be 50% height for desktop users and 33% height for mobile users. At 33% the block is small and less impactful on a big horizontal desktop monitor, and at 50% the images get cropped on a small vertical mobile screen, hiding the leading edge of the next photo and the clearest cue for continuation.
