The First Dance Fly of the Season

Dance Flies are irregular and unpredictable visitors.

I shot these in the last few minutes of sunlight before the sky clouded over.

I would like to have done better but the fly was some way down in the foliage and I could get only these angles.

Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/400 or 1/500 at
f11 ISO 2000, hand-held.

The stereos are crosseye.
