Public vs Private SmugMug Content with Customization?

I have a URL that I want to use to customize my SmugMug site for professional purposes. However, most of my current SmugMug content is snapshots of family trips. Can I wall off certain parts of SmugMug so that people accessing it using the non-SmugMug domain name can see only the content I want them to see? If so, how?

A smugmug site essentially has a single access point. You have the .smugmug.com URL and you can have a custom domain that points to it. A URL can't point to a portion of your site.
You can use the private sharing option to set up galleries and folders and to share the links with your family and friends. Folders / galleries that are set up using private sharing are only visible to you and to anyone you explicitly grant access to.
