Digital Download Package?

I'm new to selling digital downloads and am trying to figure out if I can create a package for digital downloads thru the shopping cart? An example would be 5 personal use files for $XXX.XX

There is some information on the help page for packages:

Unfortunately the help page says that packages are not available for digital downloads:

FYI: Digital downloads aren't available for Packages, but you can sell them by gallery by offering Gallery Downloads.
