Echinopsis Hybrid Wessner 16-2001 1493

This is one of the best in my collection for flower colour. I have recently used its pollen to get a lovely pod of seeds on one of the most desirable Lobivia species (now included in Echinopsis).

I used an unusually (for me) wide aperture of f6.3.

Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f86.3 hand-held.

The stereo is crosseye.

Great choice of aperture. Just enough DoF to make the flower pop that bit more.

Thanks. In such cases I tend to check thoroughly with DOF preview (manual focus).
