This hybrid has flowers considerably more tubular than my other Hildewinteras, reflecting its Cleistocactus parenthood. This was the first time it flowered for me. I was expecting it to open further so I took just some preliminary shots. It did not so I have no lateral views to show the tubular shape.

An internet search shows that the flower does open wider but some hybrids don't produce a fully typical flower at first flowering.

The stereo is crosseye. I clipped two petals in framing one of the images but the 3D is good.

Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/40 f8 ISO500, hand-held.
