This morning, I took my boys to school. Since I was going out, I took my camera and headed down by the river after dropping them off. I was looking for deer.

I had some success and I thought I would share them with you.

Here is a doe that was standing on the edge of the road as I drove through the park. She let me get a few shots.

It turns out she was with her sister...

I liked the higher contrast of this shot as she moved into different light.

A little later, while walking a path that leads to some bird feeders I came across this fellow.

He also let me get a couple of shots before he retreated into the brush.

After seeing him I proceeded to the bird feeders. When I got there there was not much happening. It took me a few minutes to realize that there were no birds, because there was no bird seed. No one had filled them and they were completely empty.

No birds today. What will I do... that's another story.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
