Only two weeks after I saw this for the first time, in a local woodland, we found several Scleroderma Earthballs with mature Boletus parasiticus.

The deep yellow ones are the parasite and the pale, yellowish ones the host.

Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, Shutter speed various at f11 ISO 3200, hand-held.

The stereos are crosseye.
