Gatherings of birds have been given collective names and “conventicle” is one for Magpies.

A conventical is defined as an assembly of an irregular or unlawful character, particularly for unlawful religious worship.

Anyway, if it can be applied, at a considerable stretch, to birds, why not stretch it a bit further for a mushroom sharing their name?
