Copy photos from Amazon Photos to Smugmug account

Is there a relatively direct way to copy selected photos from Amazon Photos to a Smugmug gallery without first downloading to PC or phone? This would be for some older photos that don't currently exist anywhere except on my Amazon account.

Yes, you can upload selected files from Amazon. In a gallery uploader you will see "Upload from other services" in the bottom right, scroll over to Amazon drive. Login and select the files to upload.
