Sort options for visitors?

I could be missing something, but as far as I can tell there is no way to provide a sort option for visitors to a gallery?

For instance, I upload photos and have it sorted chronologically with newest photos first. But i'd like for the visitor to be able to see the new photo uploaded and then switch it to oldest first to view it from oldest to newest.

Any thoughts would be great!

You aren't missing anything - the sort option is only available to the gallery owner. VIsitors cannot specify a sort sequence.

I don't know if this will solve your issue, but have you considered using a multiple photos block choosing "recent photos" as the select from?

You could set up recent photos as one view then leave the galleries sorted from old to new. Keep in mind that depending on the size of your galleries sorting from old to new may cause your viewers to leave when they realize they have already seen the (old) photos.

Thanks for the idea but for my use case scenario I really just need the sort option to be available to visitors. I'll put a feature request in and hope this can be added sometime down the road!
