Show the date a gallery or folder was last modified and/or number of pictures per gallery

I would suggest that, when logged in to one's photo website, it would be nice to date a gallery or folder was last edited. I tend to write down the dates when I work on my websites, so if I see those dates correspond with the date given as date of last update of that gallery, it would be a proof all is OK.
Also, it would be nice I think if the number of pictures per gallery would be shown.
