Video content block has extra vertical space

I'm trying to build a page that has videos and text side-by-side. The videos are hosted on Smugmug. When I place the video the content block creates excessive blank space above and below. Placing a photo in a similar manner does not do this. I have tried adjusting the size of the video as well as the margins with no effect.
here is an example:

What am I missing? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I just added a video (hosted by SM), photo and two text block just like yours and I don't see any extra margins.
I tried to view your video and I'm not seeing anything.

@Hikin' Mike sorry, I think the security settings in the gallery were wrong. I've changed it, can you see the video now?
No.

well that is certainly strange. I've checked in incognito tabs and even switched browsers while logged out and I can still see the video and error. Any idea what is going wrong here?
@Hikin' Mike what does my page look like for you?
Looks the same. I don't see a video, just clicking sound when I try to play it.

@Hikin' Mike that is the video. It's just a short test with blue screen and clicks. Any ideas about the blank space?
Either your video is corrupt or you have some custom CSS that are conflicting (I don't see any). Like I said, I created a video block, photo block and two text blocks just like yours and it works fine. Maybe you should contact the help desk as I can't see "under the hood".

@Hikin' Mike It is not a corrupt video. I tested this with other recordings and created everything on this page as a new clean test. I chose a very simple video to demonstrate the problem since it has nothing to do with the content, just the layout.
I will contact the help desk.
Let me know what they say.
