So many stunning shots, I lost count!

There are some I would have left out. Not that they are not bad, but the ones that are less take away from those that are so much more. JMO.

    Cheers Gato!

Nice work. When posting more than three shots, it makes it easier for the viewer comment on certain shots if they are numbered. Thanks for posting these.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I agree, but it is so subjective that it is hard even for me to pick a few, I will do better with the next post ....just call me Gabe it is less confusing than Gatto or Gato :-)

    Gatto...

Wonderful images of these military "heavies." It is fortunate to be able to get so up close and personal with these aircraft.

    Quick questions... is #16 a C-5M Super Galaxy, #26 a C-17 Globemaster III?

Just gotta love #22, an all gray body, no markings, no tail number...."Setec Astronomy"

Thanks for sharing these and giving some of us who would never have the opportunity to see (let alone photograph) these aircraft, a peek.

Thank you Al, # 2 is the only USAF C-5M Super Galaxy in this gallery

    8, 10, 12, 16, 23(tails), 24, 26, 26 are all USAF C-17Globemaster III

22 it is an Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767A Tanker, it has a very small roundel on the left side on the rear door and the number 14-02 on the right side of the front door indicates that it belongs to the 14th wing and it is plane #2.

1, 4, 11, 18 and 20 are all USAF and USMC C-130 in different versions

3 it' s a USCG C-27J Spartan and a HC-144 Ocean Sentry in the background

    5 it' s a P-3 AEW Orion

    6, 9 and 14 it' s a US NAVY P-8A Poseidon with it new AN/APS-154 RADAR

17 and #23 it' s a USAF Boeing 747 with POTUS #46 on board hence the call sign "Air-force One "

    13 and 21 it' s a USAF KC-135

    19 it's a USAF E-3 Sentry AWACS

    15 it's a US NAVY Boeing E-6B Mercury

I should have done that in my original post, i like to take pictures more that i like to write posts :-)

    Ciao
