I really enjoyed your summer winger! love the dog in the sun and several others. I need to go back a look some more, so many shots! some of them get lost in the shuffle. Like the swimmers and the Ice skates too.. and the two guys on the ground with the ball is great.
I think though you may have done yerself down a bit with so may shots... personally I would have preferred them two or three at a time so I was not feeling overwhelmed and I could study them in more depth.. of course,, I have the attention span of a natrolleyes1.gif Pic the best one you like a repost it..just for fun.:D

You have not wasted your time, you're an excellent shooter.

The only style you're really missing is live performance. Get down to Symphony Hall or Berklee and shoot some music. I'd really like to see what you come up with.

Impressive job, I'm envious (but getting better every day!).

This one was actually live music at a wedding, I have seen the band in other venues before, but well when you have two beers in your hand its so hard to hold the camera. I bet if I asked them they wouldnt mind me shooting.

This one I had fun with. ...... This was totally a "studio" ( I use my shooting space as called a studio loosely) set up. I thought I did a pretty good job not making it look soooo set up. One of these days I will actually ask people to model....so hard to set thens up then go and put your foot in the skate to tie the thing.....and my skates stink! ( I am one of those weirdos that wears no socks when they skate)

This was totally one of those photos that came to be only because I try to bring my camera with me everywhere. Doesnt always happen, but I was on my way to pick up my friend when this incredible sunset was going on, and before I got on the highway I decided to take a quick little detour to the local boat ramp. Deciding that the scenery was kind of boring and had just recently read about silouttes, I figured the siloutted forground would make the whole deal waaaaaaay more interesting.

    I think I achieved that.

    Yo Winger,
What's Shakin? So I got me a new D2H, maybe we can go play some time? Lunch?

do you ever read my emails?

    xoxoxoxoxo

That was from December. And no, you didn't respond to your own birthday wish. It's ok, really, I'll just continue to build up my bitterness and resent until I'm a hair shirt wearing hermit.

Hey, I shot hockey yesterday. Man is my gun fast, focus and all, but my colors suck bigtime.

Laughing.gif ok well I think I vaguely remeber that email, can we blame it on the holidays, dad getting sick and a new boyfriend.

Then again you just want to tell me how wonderful your new Nikon is and blah blah blah.....while I long for my MKII and try to make my 20d work beyond its little capablities.

    Your just mean.

OK so maybe we should do lunch soon.....especially if i take this job in NC, then lunch would be much harder to work out.

    Where did you shoot hockey?

sorry to hear about your pop. and whats this, a boy-, boyfriend!?

I'm not mean, just a geek who has to teach you about specs and dof preview buttons so you can go on to be a pro photographer while I remain a bumbling idiot who can recite the manual to 6 cameras backwards and forwards.

Hockey was in Greenfield (see here). T's cousin had a game there.

Yeah my dad is stubborn and thus made his sore worse than it could of been, but whatever he is out of surgery and now two month of recovery and alot of back and forth driving from northampton for me.

And the boy is some sucker from one of my classes.....he is AWESOME!

Yeah I need to start using that neat little button....rather than being surprised later on. What I could do with a little knowledge of how my camera worked!

Did the greenfield rink smell like pee? I always think that rink smells like pee.

I'm glad you like your new sucker boyfriend. lol3.gif

Greenfield rink did have a funk to it, but I thought that was standard for all smaller rinks. Can you chime into my hockey thread? I was hoping for comments, and all I got is another guy who is in need of more help than me. We need your wisdom! please?
