    Boy, Don, that looks like some rough country to get around in. It reminds me of the mangrove patches in south Florida's swamps.....virtually impenetrable stuff.

    I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Tom, it just looks that way because I was trying to fill the frame with branches. Palo verdes can be thick along the sides of washes but they're never hard to get around. Thanks for commenting.

    A very interesting image,!

    Lots of "lines."

    Almost like arteries, river tributaries or possibly even converging interstate highways.

    I like the patterns that these tree display.

    Again, with my bent toward BW, this shot might be a good candidate for said treatment.
