Problem with collected image maps.

Hello,
Apologies if this has been covered somewhere in the forums, search didn't come up with anything.
I have a gallery of holiday images (a) and I have 'collected' a sub-set of images for sharing with friends and placed them into gallery (b); this is accesible to anyone with the link. I have the map module installed on both (a) and (b).
The issue is that clicking on an image icon displayed in the map module in gallery (b) takes the viewer to gallery (a), rather than keeping them in gallery (b) - this then provides access to the entire gallery (a), which I don't want. This doesn't happen with the individual image information maps, clicking on that icon and the focus remains within gallery (b).
Is there a way of ensuring that clicking an image within a gallery of collected images keeps the focus on that gallery and does not direct the viewer to the original source gallery?
Thanks for any help.
