I recently used my Raynox MSN-505 on a 210mm lens at f16:

This was with it on my Olympus 50mm macro fitted with its x2TC.

This individual capsule had opened, retaining all of its golden apical threads. Behind it is a capsule with the conical cap still in place.

Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f16, MSN-505 twin flash hand-held.

The first image is a crop of the second one (FOV 5mm wide).

Awesome this looks to be extremely small, I love to colors in it.

    Thanks.

The golden structure is about 0.4mm diam, a bit larger than some of my subjects but challenging enough.

I don't know why it is that golden colour while the others like it are not. All the lighting is flash, not the sun.
