AI Smart Search or Face tagging

Is smugmug considering implementing any smart search features like auto-tagging by looking at the picture content or tagging faces so we don't have to go through each picture to tag people? I realized how useful this feature is in Samsung Gallery or Google Photos app and some smugmug competitors offer it as well.
My smugmug still under construction & organization with 17,000 images and counting... meanwhile check my Flickr

Any comments or is there already a feature request we can vote?
In the meantime, lightroom has that functionality and you can then write tagged names to the EXIF (IPTC technically) metadata and then upload the file. I believe that data will then transfer up to Smugmug to make the photo searchable. While more complicated it does preserve the 'who might this person be' information in your photos for later generations and searching on your own computer.
Image Analysis is available if you subscribe to Source (RAW file support). It doesn't include advanced features such as facial recognition, but it's great for things like searching for objects in photos. Details about it are available here:

Thanks for the feedback!
> Just saw your post about "AI Smart Search or Face Tagging" and wanted to jump in with my two cents. Honestly, both of these techs are pretty cool and have their perks. AI Smart Search can streamline your workflow, making it super easy to find stuff without sifting through endless files.
It's like having a personal assistant who knows exactly where everything is.
On the other hand, face tagging is a game-changer for organizing photos and videos. Imagine being able to find a specific person in your massive photo library in seconds. It’s especially handy for those of us who take a ton of photos and then forget about them!
If you're looking for something that combines these features, you might want to check out https://www.idanalyzer.com/products/prime-id-scanner.html . They have some neat AI solutions that could fit what you need. It’s worth a peek!
Both options are great, and it boils down to what you’re looking to achieve. Hope this helps a bit, and good luck with whichever path you choose!
I love to have it since I am an event/race photographer. Is nice my 2k photos can be tagged with their bib numbers using AI. Photodesk is offering it something like $30 for 10,000 jobs.
