Processing the last one was a challenge. It's a blend of three exposures. I don't like what HDR software does to the sun in shots like this so I blended them in Photoshop using luminosity masks.
I learned one trick to use when the sun is in the shot from a book by Mark Muench. You take an exposure with a finger blocking the sun. Doing that increases the contrast in the rest of the shot. It had been so long since I took a shot like this that I forgot to do it here, alas.
