Ants and smaller insects

I am curious about the tiny little insects that the ants seem to be looking after, some shots show the ants getting some liquid ( honey dew) from the smaller bugs but the shots didn't turn out very good so I have not included them in this group.
Interesting to see one insect on the left with an almost perfect circle hole cut into its shell.

Good series- the ants have a symbiotic relationship with aphids. Interestingly you also have some mummified aphids (the brown ones) that have been parasitised by tiny wasps.

An excellent set. The parasitic wasp is Aphidius sp., closely related to Braconidae.
