Has anyone managed to make their site Mastodon Verified? I tried placing the verification code in an HTML block but I don't think it had any effect.

I've never heard of Mastodon. Can you post the verification code and your site?

Based on the description I suspect the link they are looking for would need to be on whatever page your Mastodon profile links to.

It took a while, but I made it work. Put your Mastodon HTML code snippet that includes the rel="me" tag in an HTML content block. You can see what I've done at my home page: https://camerondcampbell.smugmug.com/ and then see on my Mastodon profile that I am verified: https://camerondcampbell.masto.host/@cameron

Thanks, I'll look into that.

I like your website. These drop-down menus are great. I'm still early days on my revisit to SmugMug and trying different things out. Have you customised your website yourself or is it a standard theme/template?

Glad you like my site. I've been using the Smugmug default theme and then their customizer. They make the navbars etc. fairly straightforward.`
