This hit hard. Andrew lost his wife several years ago to cancer and most recently had struggled after a mini stroke. He moved from Santa Cruz to Texas and had built a tiny home. I always enjoyed his interest in the locations he travelled to shoot MotoGP. He'd live in an apartment for a week or so and embrace all that was the place. He was an amazing chef, often preparing meals you might enjoy as a local. Then come race weekend, you would see his work and realize you'd never seen a race photographed in the same way. His skill was special and I know he will be missed by all who knew him. Andrew was @MacZippy here.

Godspeed Andrew. My condolences to his friends throughout the world.
