Doff your Cap

Arrrr. :pissed Does anyone make a good lens cap -- one that stays on when you want it to but comes off when you want it to?! I'm getting real tired of finding the lens cap deep in my bag or flopping around on the floorboard of the car.

I find that if you make very sure you have clicked the cap in place, made sure the bayonets have engaged, that you should be perfectly fine with Canon lens caps on Canon lenses. I'm paranoid about it, so I always make double sure by rotating the cap in place before trusting that the cap is on properly.
And I don't push it into place - I squeeze the bayonet buttons and seat the lens cap before releasing and checking. Always works for me.
