Backstory about a photo

Is there a way in SmugMug to create a block of text that attaches to a photo and changes with each photo. I'm looking to write some text to give context to individual photos, kind of like a backstory to a photograph. This would be more text than the "comments" section would normally allow. I've looked at various sites and can't seem to find any examples of this nor can I find anything similar in the help menus.
What I envision is sidebar (block of text) which when a photo in a gallery is displayed the sidebar would display along with the photo.

The only way I am aware of to attach text to a photo in a gallery is to use the Title and Caption for the photo. You can see an example of this on my site in the gallery https://www.denisegoldberg.com/Medley/galleries-by-date/n-GzNHG/.
You could also think about creating a page on your site using a combination of photos and text (or html). You can pretty much create whatever you want using this method. This page on my site uses a Folders, Galleries, and Pages block to show the photos and an HTML block to show the text: https://www.denisegoldberg.com/Kaleidoscope/

I use very little custom code on my site; most of it is standard SmugMug.
Both the "kaleidoscope" and "about" pages on my site are pages containing HTML/CSS and photo blocks.
The "gallery" page is a page containing a Folders block.
My blog is hosted on Blogger; I matched the look and feel of the blog to my SmugMug site.
