Count of images in a folder or gallery/smart gallery?

How do I determine the number of images in a folder, gallery or smart gallery without having to physically count them? My plan level is Power user.

    You can see the number of items in a folder or gallery in the organizer.

    When you click on the item in the tree on the left you will see the contents of that item on the right. Above the right panel you will see the number of items in that selection.

    In this example from my site I've highlighted Fragments. You can see the tiles representing galleries on the right. There are 42 galleries in the folder Fragments. If I click on a gallery I will then see the photos represented on the right with the number of photos shown on the line above the photos.
