Fungus Stilbella byssiseda Parasitic on Slime Mould Metatrichia floriformis

Our local fungus recording group was surveying a wood where conifer trunks laid on the ground were well-rotted. One of these had this relationship which we had not seen before.

Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f11, triple flash hand-held. (Studio session).

The FOV in the images is 7mm wide or less.

The stereos are crosseye and conventional.

Actually, I found something else next to it which my companion was going to look at, and looking a few cm to the left, found this.

Somehow, I omitted to post it here soon after we found it.
