Great shots, I find it interesting how the liquid drop holds the flies leg up on top of it without breaking the surface tension . Another good example of how the macro world differs from ours.

Thanks for the comments mike - I was going to say the liquid syrup is fairly viscous but having seen small flies walking around on dewdrops without breaking the surface, I think the surface tension is enough.
