I have the utmost respect for these little birds, when all the others fly south to warmer locations these hardy little birds stay put and endure the extremely cold Alberta winters. It sometimes gets to minus 40 deg Celsius (minus 40 deg F ) here so I like to put up a feeder during the winter to help the little ones out. When the feeder gets low on seed they all gather on our deck railing looking in the window while flapping their wings trying to get our attention lol. Anyways here are some photos of my favorite little bird the Black capped Chickadee.
