Help! Need a Striking Title ["Evil Lars" just doesn't work!]

Hello friends!

My mom's spouse Lars is the most kind and inoffensive guy in the world. He somewhat reminds me of a totally defensless bird offspring and he couldn't even scare a fly. He stoped by today, and I just felt like tryin' to snap a Lars-picture with a little attitude. So I thought "What to do? What to do?" and suddenly my eyes locked focus on my carving knife - and swoosh - I got an idea. I gave him pose instructions and asked him to give me the "evil eye". *Haha* I had to do some PP to bring it out. Tell me, does he look scarry or just silly? Can't deside! :o)
I know that there is a perfect title for this pic, but I can't pinpoint it. Any ideas?

Regards / Matty

My considerations:

* "The face of a man who is about to meet his maker!"
* "Going under the knife"
* "Having an old friend for dinner!"

    Great photograph.

    Reflection

Is it just me or does anyone else notice the reflection or image of a face in the knife?

Good work Matty thumb.gifthumb.gif Lars looks like he's been dragenized clap.gif

I know what you mean about the title for this shot. It's right on the tip of my tongue. Something like "Sharp Gaze" or "Cutting Glare". It's neither of those but both are close. ne_nau.gif

Bingo! Peeerfect! I was hoping that the reflection wasn't to obvious - but I thought it was. But after all, perhaps it's not?

    "He's got a splitting personality"

Like the Hulk quote "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry"

Great shot, what did you in PP to get that effect in the eye. I really like it.
"A photo is like a hamburger. You can get one from McDonalds for $1, one from Chili's for $5, or one from Ruth's Chris for $15. You usually get what you pay for, but don't expect a Ruth's Chris burger at a McDonalds price, if you want that, go cook it yourself." - me

Well, only dodging and burning and a little extra sharpening around the iris. No other tweaks! :):

I think you did a terrific job, it's a compelling shot!

Ever hear the song called Mack the Knife?

    How about "Lars the Knife"?

This is a really good photograph. I love it (and also the ones you have been doing at the hospital). Why not call it simply "Menace" if you are going to enter it into the competition, which I hope you will do. Lars may be a really nice, gentle man, but his picture says menace to me!! Did I already say I love it?

Very cool shot. Looks like a mean mean old man (Don't tell him I said that:D )

Would have been equally as good without the knife. Has a weathered, rugged looking face.

Likewise, would not like to meet in a dark alley:beatwax

Since you tried to transform a gentle man into something abusive my title would be:

"Sweet dreams are made of this"

If you know the lyrics to that Eurythmics song you know why.

    Great image, Matty!
