These images are a mix of some found this year and the second one, found in October 2016.
They are found on rotten wood, fallen tree trunks in this case.
The spheroid groups of small, rounded objects are freshly emerged from the substrate. The very dark ones are ripe, with some signs of grazing by slugs. It may be only a few days between the stages.
All photographed with my EM-1, the 2016 one with the Kiron 105mm, the others with the Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro.
Stereos to follow.

Thanks, Brian.
Slime moulds are available at all seasons, provided conditions are not too dry.
