Change background color of a content block

I'm redesigning my site and I want to change the background color of a content block on my homepage. I know I can do this in the CSS and I have to look for the ID of the content-block via elements but that doesn't seem to work. I think I'm not using the right ID. Can someone show me the right ID? my site www.wimdewulf.com ... but i am currently in redesign. If you look on my home page I have put the text "Test" and I want to change the background color of that box. Can someone help?
