Photodex slideshow of my daughter's first basketball game of the season. First chance to use my Sigma 30mm f1.4 for indoor sports. Worked very well.
Interesting thing about the light of the gym -- very very yellow/orange. The girls' shirts are bright red. To my eyes, and to the camera, they are orange. I even used an expodisc and shot raw -- I COULD NOT get the shirts to be red.
Nice to shoot at f1.4 -- allowed me to get 1/500 shutter speeds at ISO1600. I should dialed in some positive exposure compensation. I bumped up the exposures in raw processing, making the photos a tad noisy.
