Thank you all for your contributions! I guess I now have to decide on a winner...

Best Ruins:

By @Cavalier. Archeology FTW

3) Once a thrivng metropolis, example of ex-urbania

Most Dramatic Sky:

By @shawnc. Beautiful contrast of orange sky, city lights, and blue water.

Skyline, Honolulu, Hi

Best Old City Centre:

By @sapphire73. I'm a sucker for these twisty medieval streets, so full of history!

3) Street in Lyon, France

Biggest Skyline:

By @grandmaR. I love this huge pile of white and grey towers!

  1. Seattle from the Space Needle.

Best Little Boxes On The Hillside:

By @Cavalier. I do love the pastel colours!

2) Scotia, Ca. A Lumbermill Company Town -where conformity is paramount

Runner-up:

by @shawnc. I love the composition here, the massive silver towers together with the smaller blocks and the busy little marina.

Seattle, Wa.

My Fave:

By @bfluegie, right under the buzzer. I just really, really like this. The swooping antique bridge, the blue railings picked up by some blue towers on the opposite shore, it all just make my brain sing.

1) Roebling Suspension Bridge and Cincinnati Skyline, panorama

Congratulations Barbara!

Congratulations @bfluegie -- great perspective of the city skyline with that beautiful bridge leading to it.

And thanks for the mention of my non-city city-scapes, @npdemers

Congratulations to @bfluegie for your first place win for your photo of that bridge and the Cincinnati skyline! Looking forward to what you post for the next mini! And congratulations @shawnc for second place for your photo of Seattle! There were so many great entries, and it was fun to see how @npdemers "commented" on so many of them! (Thanks for the nod to my photo of the street in Lyon.)

Wow, this is quite a shocker given how many great entries there were. Thank you @npdemers for selecting my Cincinnati pano for first place. I actually considered sitting this one out since I don't usually photograph in cities. Congrats to @shawnc for second place. Since I really didn't expect this I may take a day or two to put up a new challenge. I do have a couple of ideas that I need to think over.
