Upload Shared Album from Apple Photos to Smugmug

The title says it all: I am trying to upload photos and videos in a shared album (or any album if that's not possible) from Apple photos to Smugmug. I have tried using the Smugmug app on Mac OS, as well as PicBackMan and have looked for other applications.

This seems like it would be straightforward but I can't find a way to do it short of exporting the album images+videos from Apple Photos to disk and then manually uploading to Smugmug. Thanks for any thoughts.

I found this article saying that Apple Photos doesn't support uploading directly to any other service. It also documents the process of exporting and then uploading.

Thanks. That's unfortunate, but unlikely to change.

Drag and drop works fine for me from Photos App to any Smugmug gallery opened in the organize view. This is Safari in Sonoma OS. Have been doing this for months with no problems.

Confirmed. I just tried it. Apple Photos app opened (on laptop), duplicated a photo and just dragged it into Smugmug and it was almost instant. Apple Macbook Pro running Sonoma, and Smugmug in Chrome browser.
