LRC Classic - Publish Services - Smart Galleries gone

Good afternoon.
I moved LRC to a new computer and everything has come up fine except for the Smugmug Plugin. When I installed the plugin, my smart galleries are gone.
Is there a method I should have used to migrate the plugin over to retain the smart galleries? Any way to recover at this point?

Interesting. I just confirmed that neither publishing a smart gallery nor re-sync-ing a posted gallery back to Lightroom transfers the smart rules. I've always worked with smart galleries and their rules on website, not via the plugin. Maybe sometime in the distant past I concluded the plugin wasn't real helpful here. Maybe check in with SmugMug support. And post what you learn. I'd like to know too.

This appears to describe what's going on and how to restore the smart gallery settings if you have the right backup. Note that you get to the commands to export and import smart collection settings (rules) by right clicking the smart gallery in Lightroom plugin list over on the left sidebar. The idea: you load an old backup gallerycatalog, export the settings/rules for each smart gallery, reload the current gallerycatalog, create new smart galleries (without rules) if necessary, then import the settings/rules. I did a simple test. I created a small smart gallery in the plugin, published, exported the collection settings, deleted the gallery, created a new smart gallery, and imported the collection setting. I seem to have recovered the rules. Don't know if this will work in your situation. Give it a try if you can. Post your experiences.
Please note I edited my earlier comment. I used the word "gallery" in a few places where I meant "catalog".
