Snowy Owl - MN

Went looking for a snowy owl this morning and managed to find one.

Not much action - need to bring some mice next time. :rolleyes

These are beautiful birds - this one had much more black on it than others I've seen. Likely related to age/sex/??, but I'm not sure.

    I like this photograph very much. The loose framing, the composition, the mood, the colors, even the noise all work together. Very nice.

    When I first viewed it, I though "Man, what a good looking bird. If only he could have gotten closer." Now, a close up of that owl would have been nice. But, I think you captured an even better scene clap.gif
