Lovely set of image on his/her site at pbase.

Nice soft light, and great attitude and engagement from his subjects.

Simple backgrounds or just fade to black, but great engagement of his subjects with the camera!! Really grabs the vewier and pulls them in.

Adrian, thanks for posting the link to his gallery. What a wonderfull collection of images. And what a master at imaging and artistry! I would really like to know how some of the shots were accomplished, especially the three hamsters doing circus tricks.

Well maybe it is. And either the hampsters are professionally trained to pose and perform circus tricks, or he's cooking the images. But does that really matter? Looking around a lot of sites, the variation from "real" to unreal is all over the board - from none to all. Whatever.

All photos are merely interpretations. Once those photons hit the glass, reality takes a long vacation. To this artist's credit, whatever method he chose to create his art, he's done so with mastery. Looks good to me, and I come away amazed. I could only wish a handful of my images could someday evoke awe and smiles in others (they instead probably evoke sympathy).

Yeah, I wondered the same of the butterfly. {and if it were to actually happen as in the photo} my own friendly and tame cats would sooner eat the thing in a jiffy.

This is really an awsome gallery. Maybe someday I'll get one picture as good as those.
