stats page sloooooow for anyone else?

or am i just being punished for something i did when i was seventeen?

addendum: using I.E. 6 with all patches (at work, so no choice!), all my other sm pages load fine, the stats page seems to hang up for multiple minutes (more than 5 minutes jsut now!), then eventually show the stats page, but with only the first three or four little bar graphs displayed correctly, most of the rest are broken image links.

Ouch - sorry you had this trouble. I'm always checking folks' stats and I have never seen what you are seeing.

Lots of variables here. I just looked at your stats, they came up in about 15 seconds.

If you notice this to be an issue multiple times, different times of day, please send a note to help@smugmug.com on it. I'd also like to know if you have the issue from a virgin connection (no corp firewalls, etc)...

andy - cheers for the swift repsonse. corporate firewall is very possible (i don't recall the problem in the past, but then i may only have checked stats from home in the past!). it's still happening to me now, so i'll let you know once i get home whether i see the same problem or not.

OK so for giggles - I was uploading 150megs of photos AND THEN at the same time I went to my admin panel and loaded your stats page. 9 seconds

30 seconds here. About 20 "waiting for smugmug.com" so I don't think it can be attributed to transfer time.

I wonder if it will be a lot worse near the end of the month when there actually are a lot more hits &etc. I'll try to remember to experiment.

Oh, and yeah, takes one to know one, eh?

In the end, does it really matter? How often do you check your stats? Hit the button, and go do soemthing else for a minute
