Comments on smugmug

After three months as a power user here are some comments:

I love the easy upload feature
I like the gallery viewing options for both administrator and viewers.
I like seeing photos as big as possible
I like password protecting galleries for friends
I like the HTML options for the header and footer

Where improvement is needed

I need to post short video clips and i hope to find a gallery that accepts my quicktime .mov format

The slideshow is weak. I have photobase and there are so many special effects you can add to view each photo arrive (eg randomn).

Administrator should be able to see individual photo view statistics directly under photo when logged on.

A message board (php) would be great. People could add comments, photos, link a smugmug photo to message board but the photo gallery would still be king for displaying photos and video clips. With a message board you would have it all!!! One stop shopping.

Guest password should be available for power customers so visitors can direcly add photos. I think it would be ridiculous to upgrade to pro just for that. But if you threw in a message board...I would reconsider
