Orlando, FL anybody?

I'm going to be in Orlando, FL (starting early morning Friday 10th and leaving 6 pm Sunday 12th) on a mission to photograph auto trade show for our company.
I'll be pretty much on my own most of the Friday (until 5-6pm), likely Saturday night (although there can be some show-related events) and the whole Sunday until my flight takes off.

I would appreciate if some local photography-oriented Floridian(s) would show me around (I mean: places to shoot and places to eat:-) on the said times.:lust
And if you're into the cars (although it's not a car show per se, usually there is something to looks at. And there are always nice freebies:-) I can get you in on Saturday for free (as opposed to $50..$100:-)

Your maybe an hour, hour and a half away from harryb (actually I think it only took me 45 minutes but I drive like a @#$). If your gonna be on your own friday and some of saturday night, or any other time that weekend, My vote is to get in touch with harry and join the florida shoot. Lord knows if I was down there thats what I would do.

When you said "shoot" you just meant "hwatever-harry-and-friends-are-doing-on-the-weekends", or there is some special photo event going at those dates?

Dude. Its a huge florida wildlife shoot thing, Lots of people are going (I opted to sit this one out and go later in the year hopefully as I'm doing the shootout). Here is the thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=22044. I would deffinatley hook up with these guys.

Come down Nick and join the party at Harry's. There is a Sticky in the Wildlife thread herre on dgrin. Nightingale and I will be there through Friday, but we have to leave Saturday to return to work the following week.

Looking for things to shoot in Orlando, is like looking for a beer in a Budwieser brewery. Do you have wheels - Rental car?

Think Florida, think wildlife, think Space Shuttle at Cape kenedy, think Disney theme parks, MGM Studios, Warner Bros parks, yada yada yada yada.

I spent three days with my son who was a Disney employee and did not even scatch the surface of photographic possibilities. Just point and shoot. There's even parades and street performers.

I'm going to be down for a few days too. I live just north of Harry, and I'm planning on driving down for several of the days. Really looking forward to it!
