Is this a good light system to use with a canon 20d? or even in general?

Never heard of them. A quick google search says they are a Chinese company. Not much else to read up on.
Personally, I'd stay away from them (but only because I can't find too much
about these lights).
Do you have any more info on the set you are talking about?
The only real flaw I find is the modeling light is not variable and you only have full and half power to choose from.... but for the price I can move the light from the subject to compensate.
Hope this helps.
