Okracoke Island

Been going to the Outer Banks for years but never took the trip over to Okracoke. Finally made it last weekend. Here are a few from the trip.

Every shot I've ever seen of the Okracoke lighthouse has pretty much been this angle. I figured there wasn't much opportunity for any different shot. It's true - so this is just a copy of every other shot out there.





On the return ferry ride.

It's not really an island shot, but my favorite is the dried grass. I really go for the bokeh.

Thanks - yea, not an "Island Shot" as people usually think of tropical islands. These are barrier islands on the coast of North Carolina. I guess you could call it more of a beach shot - those are sea oats that love to grow in the sand.

All are nice but I like the last 1 best. I like the odd sunset, I was heading out here in a bit to try to catch tonights myself.

Thanks Mike! That one was partially borne from laziness... didn't feel much like getting out of the truck but there was the view in my mirror
