Lightbox, sucky or not, needs keyboard shortcuts

So I've been away from the forums and SM for a while, so I found out about Lightbox while perusing the "What's New" pages.

Tried it out, liked it. Reminiscent of Flickr's slideshow, without the annoying preload. (But also without the nifty tiny thumbnails, current photo indicator and subsequent fast transitions. Yes, I realize SM already has a slide show view.)

But in thinking about Flickr, and also thinking about SM's claim that "Click fatigue is [their] enemy", why oh why does Lightbox not have any keyboard shortcuts? (Trust me, I tried every key on my keyboard.)

How about making it something simple, like left/right arrows. Or fine, comma and period (< and >). Or space bar/backspace?

Something? Cause I hate clicking. And I thought you did too. :-}

    BTW, I could've sworn I posted this last night, and even saw it amongst the threads. But this afternoon it was "disappeared". What, is the word 'sucky' too strong of a criticism?

    No, absolutely not. I moved your thread, to the Feautres reqeust thread, where it belongs.

    Huh, I guess when I searched for posts by me earlier, either 1) the index hadn't been updated or more likely 2) I just didn't recognize my post under the "Feature Request" thread.

    Does vBulletin let you have sub-sub-categories? I really dislike lumping feature requests all into one big thread. Hard to get an overview, so as not to duplicate a request. Also hard to follow other people's opinions about your requests if they're all part of the same long thread.

    If not, then maybe a SmugMug Feature Request category?

    Also... is there a way for users to be notified when their posts are moved to another thread?

    Thanks again.

    You are not notified when your posts are moved. But you can find your posts easily when you click on your name. All FRs go into one thread, that's why it's there. Imagine how hard it would be for all of us at SmugMug to chase down different threads?
