Can't unjoin community?

So I was a member of the cheerleading and dance team community. I unjoined, because it would always put my galleries in that group and the breadcrumbs would reference it - and I didn't want that.
But now, I have a brand new gallery, created after I unjoined the community, and it's part of it. I can't get it out, because I have no control to do so, as I don't belong to ANY communities.
My account here is "cheerphoto" and the gallery is the "Galaxy Cheer teams," number 1182227.
What did I miss? :-)

Good question. I'll do some digging.

I unjoined the community, but before doing so, unassociated all galleries. I've not been a member of that community for over a week. The gallery that I created today is in that community, however.
So if I re-join, dis-associate, and then unjoin again, what's to prevent new galleries from being a part of the community? Sorry if i wasn't clear.

I figured it out. When you created this new gallery, you used your template, which, when you make the settings template, had the "Cheering community" set to be joined. So, the answer is, DELETE that template, and make a new template, and save it. With no community checked.
For this gallery, you'll have to create a new gallery, and move all the photos from the old gallery to the new gallery and then delete the old gallery. Then, you'll be all set!
I hope this helps.
