Stock photo of an older street man who caught my eye. Tried a new Painting technique out on it. Done with a start of a indepth smudging technique. Then carried on a few extra layers done through custom settings in Impressionist plug-in for Adobe, and then a few extra tricks after that, I also did the smudging with a Wacom Intous.

Work or no worK? Ways to improve it?

None of these sort of styles work for me at all..give me standard shadows & noise/grain etc but i just dont like the artistic styles. Sorry.

Do you still have the original shot to show us ? I would like to see it.

I think you have a very striking photo which is strong enough to support the effects you used.

Nothing wrong with what you've done. But I sure would like to see the original too.
    Sid.
