Nikonos/Ikelite Question

A European Colleague of mine wants to know if the IKellite camera Housing for the Nikon D50 can be connected with a flash equiped with a male connection for a Nikonos V.

I, of course, being a loyal and virtous canon user, cannot answer this question. Nor do I typically lower myself to a level where I might actually encounter a nikonophile.:D

However, this man is my boss. So I am FORCED to grovel here for some help, perhaps from Harryb or Dr. It.

www.ikelite.com should answer the question for you. If you look for the d50, you'll also
find a suggested strobes page. When I've dealt with them in the past, they've been very
helpful.

I would *guess* that if you know the part number on the strobe cable, you could call
them and find out.

BTW, the Nikonos was one of the defacto underwater cameras (ones you didn't need
to buy a housing for) for many years. Damn fine camera it is too.
