i've been searching online for a comprehensive website that lists photo competitions and the details and url.

i couldnt find any so i started my own. http://www.artroom.biz/photo

its not a comprehensive list YET,... so if i missed out anything, it would be great if you can provide me details/url

Gomma has a great list
Gomma Magazine

The portal takes a little getting used to but it has some great information. The photography contests are listed under the Gomma Directory on the right.

Select "Photographic Contents" from the contents menu
then "Contests" from the sub menu.
